ACADEMIC CAREER

He completed his PhD in Economic Geography in 2004 and has been a Lecturer at La Sapienza University since 2006, where he teaches Economic Geography, GIS and spatial analysis and is responsible for the teaching activities in economic geography of the PhD in Method and Models for Economics. He is  scientific responsible for La  Sapienza University in the 7th Framework Programme research projects “Euborderregions: European Regions, EU External Borders and the Immediate Neighbours” and "TESS, Towards European Societal Sustainability”.

His publications include more than 40 articles, books and book chapters in English, Italian and Spanish (http://geostasto.eco.uniroma1.it/utenti/celata/)
